Christian Pearson is an Oklahoma born and bred pianist. Originally classically trained, Christian was drawn to jazz improvisation in college. At OU, Christian studied jazz and music theory and performed with the Pride of Oklahoma and the OU Jazz Ensemble, all the while cutting his teeth in bars on campus corner. He has also honed his sound and technique performing at various private parties and venues in Oklahoma City including the historic Red Piano Lounge at the Skirvin Hotel, where he headlines almost every Friday night.

At the Ralph Ellison Festival, Christian will be performing at 7 PM in the theater at The Paramount OKC.
