Lauren Zuniga is an international touring poet and teaching artist. She is the author of two full length poetry collections, The Nickel Tour (Penmanship, 2009) and The Smell of Good Mud (Write Bloody, 2012) which was a finalist for the Oklahoma Book Award. She is a three-time national slam finalist and her work has been featured on Upworthy, MoveOn.Org, Everyday Feminism & Boing Boing. In 2012 she served as the Activist in Residence at the University of Oklahoma and was voted Best Local Author by the Oklahoma Gazette. She lives with her sweetheart, her two rad kids and a dog named Walter Grace in Oklahoma City.
